Mulled Wine

'Tis the season! It is that time of year again where we get to wear our ugly Christmas sweaters and sip mulled wine. This popular European drink is something we enjoy drinking over the holidays, especially after a day of braving the cold.

While mulled wine is served at Christmas markets, restaurants and in family homes in England, Spain and Austria, it isn't something that is regularly found in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Served warm or hot, this recipe is a tasty treat you'll want to serve your family and friends during the holidays. This year we can't wait try it using our custom made wine and Port. The best part is, it is super easy to make and we have the perfect recipe for you!

INGREDIENTS:

- 750 ml of dry red wine

- 1/3 cup sugar

- 1/2 cup water

- 1 orange

Spice Bag:

- 4 whole cloves
